Clinical Psychologist

Shiri is a dually registered psychologist and behaviour analyst, with over two decades of experience supporting children, youth, and families. She works with a broad range of clients, including neurodiverse individuals, and integrates developmental and behavioural approaches to provide individualized, evidence-based care.

Shiri offers a wide range of assessment services, including autism diagnostic assessments. She has extensive experience in the early identification of autism in very young children and in girls, where presentations can be subtle and easily missed. Her assessment approach is thorough, sensitive, and informed by current research on underrepresented and complex diagnostic profiles. Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Amanda provides therapeutic support for children and adolescents, as well as parent coaching for caregivers. She adopts an integrative therapeutic approach to best meet the unique developmental needs of her clients. Dr. Amanda grounds her work in a person-centered framework, prioritizing the connection and relationship with her clients. She believes that providing a non-judgemental space that fosters acceptance and trust is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing.

Dr. Amanda has experience supporting children and adolescents with anxiety and mood concerns, emotional dysregulation, relational difficulties, school-related challenges, and life transitions.

She also works with youth with ADHD, helping them recognize their unique strengths, deepen their self-understanding, and develop practical strategies for managing areas of difficulty. Her approach blends emotional support with practical behavioural skills (e.g., executive functioning coaching, emotion regulation strategies) to ensure that insights from therapy translate effectively into daily life. Dr. Smoliak provides counselling and psychotherapy to individual adults, couples, and families. What distinguishes her as a professional is a blend of training and experience in relational dynamics and individual mental health difficulties.
